About Romanian Society for Phenomenology
The Romanian Society for Phenomenology was founded in 2000 to promote research in phenomenology, coordinate the development of this discipline in Romania, and help constitute a specialized phenomenological community in Romania.
The Society is a founding member of the Organization of the Phenomenological Organizations.
OUR PROJECTS
The aim of the society is to promote the phenomenology in Romania, by organizing conferences, seminars, and workshops, and by stimulating a professional community of researchers. The main publication of the Romanian Society for Phenomenology is the international yearbook Studia Phaenomenologica, founded in 2001.

A Decade with Studia Phaenomenologica
The journal Studia Phaenomenologica reached its tenth year of existence. During this decade 17 volumes have been published including 14 regular and three special issues (a homage volume and two volumes of proceedings). The volumes in print between 2001 and 2010 have added up to more than 6700 pages, comprising of not less than 307 articles, of which 81 in English, 125 in French and 81 in German. On average, authors from 7-8 countries contributed to each volume of our journal and this is a fair indication of the international spread of our editorial project.
