Our Projects

Studia Phaenomenologica

Studia Phaenomenologica is an international yearbook founded in 2001, publishing original work in phenomenology and hermeneutics in English, French, and German.

All articles are blind-refereed or invited. Each issue is a thematic dossier focused on a phenomenological topic, followed by a “Varia” section with contributions from a variety of phenomenological perspectives.

Institute of Philosophy “Alexandru Dragomir”

The Institute of Philosophy “Alexandru Dragomir” was founded in 2009 as a private and independent Research Institute, aiming to stimulate the high-quality philosophical research, with a special interest on phenomenology, hermeneutics and history of philosophy. Interdisciplinary research projects are also welcome, provided that a philosophical dimension is essential.

Romanian Philosophy Newsletter

The Romanian Philosophy Newsletter is a monthly informative bulletin started in 2007, containing announcements about recent events in the community of Romanian philosophers, from all sub-domains of philosophy, given that they appear in academic contexts, in Romania or abroad: authored books, edited volumes, articles in journals, translations, conferences, calls for papers.

Newsletter of Phenomenology

The Newsletter of Phenomenology was started on the 2nd of May 2002 by the Romanian Society for Phenomenology with the collaboration of the Center for Advanced Research in Phenomenology (CARP). Since 2016, it is a partner of the Open Commons of Phenomenology. The newsletter includes up-to-date information regarding the most important events in the field of phenomenology.

The Online Encyclopedia of the Romanian Philosophy

This project aims to present the Romanian philosophers, in a series of concise bilingual articles. The structure of each article includes a brief presentation of the life of the author, a brief description of the main works, as well as primary and secondary bibliography.
