Annual Conference of the Romanian Society for Phenomenology, organized with the support of Babeș-Bolyai University from Cluj-Napoca and European Foundation Cluj-Napoca

Argument: Recent research in philosophy and human sciences demonstrates both the relevance of phenomenology for psychology and psychoanalysis, and the fertility of the phenomenological approach for the understanding of the human behavior. The conceptual configuration formed by concepts, such as self, other(s), consciousness, and unconscious, is able to provide a comprehensive and stimulating framework for research in philosophy and human sciences.
The organizers are looking for papers that advance the disciplines of psychology and psychoanalysis from the perspective of the phenomenological movement, as well as contributions in the field of phenomenology that takes inspiration in the recent developments psychology and psychoanalysis, including from their experimental and clinical practices.

- Phenomenology & experimental psychology
- Phenomenology & psychoanalysis
- Need, desire
- Experience, passivity, lifeworld, facticity
- Concept and language in phenomenology, psychology and psychoanalysis
- Convergences and divergences between phenomenology, psychology and psychoanalysis.
Languages: The languages of the conference will be English and French.

Full papers: Please send full papers (10 to 15 pages) before October 20th, 2017 to the following address: conference@phenomenology.ro
Publication: The papers will be published in a collective volume by a major Romanian or international publisher. A supplementary selection may take place, according to the standards of the publisher.
Practical: Unfortunately we cannot cover accommodation and travel costs. We will provide information concerning the cheapest fares for buses, trains, flights and hotels. We might take care of some of the meals during the conference.
